"Mottainai" (pronounced mot/tai/nai or like the English words mote-tie-nigh) roughly translates to "Don't waste", or "Every little thing has a soul". In the game Mottainai, a successor in the Glory to Rome line, you can use your cards for many different purposes. Every player is an acolyte in a temple who performs tasks, gathers materials, and sells or completes works for visitors. Every card may be each of these three things.

You select tasks to allow you to perform actions, keeping in mind that other players get to follow up on your task on their next turn. Clever planning and combining of your works' special abilities is key, as is managing what materials you will sell.

Mottainai is a fast, yet deep, game experience.

This version comes with a single deck with black backs, and can be used to play with 2-3 players. The box is large enough to accommodate the deck even if the cards are placed in sleeves.
