Concordia: Balearica contains the balearic islands of MAIORICA (Mallorca), MINORICA (Menorca), EBUSUS (Ibiza), and FRUMENTARIA (Formentera).

Each player begins with 2 ships already at sea. There is no capital city to begin from. Land colonists are built later in the game, but can change their position between the islands.

As an extra, Concordia: Balearica contains a fishmarket. The fish market may be combined not only with the new BALEARICA map, but also utilized as a variant together with the base game or any other CONCORDIA map.

Fish replaces the ordinary bonus units you usually collect when playing your Prefect, as a new commodity. The bonus is more aswell with 2 fish in provinces which have failed to produce in the last round. Sell your fish on a separate fishmarket, where you can obtain goods, cash, or special actions in return. This way the fish market brings an extra layer of planning ahead, and new challenges for the experienced CONCORDIA player.

The opposite side of the board contains the ITALIA map for all who have missed it when buying Concordia Venus.
