CIV: Carta Impera Victoria is a game of CIVilization and diplomacy where you develop your own civilization. Be the first one to reach supremacy in one field to make history, but keep an eye on how your opponents are advancing. Creating a temporary alliance might be the best way to keep a player from triumphing…and remember a good offense sometimes is the best defense!
There six fields of expertise in the game: Military, Religion, Economics, Science, Culture, and Utopia. There are 104 cards in the game split between three ages, which represent the natural evolution of global civilization throughout history. The cards in each field, however, aren't equally split . Once the second age has finished, for example, if you haven't reached supremacy in Religion yet, it might be time to think of another strategy!
Each field grants powers to players who succeed in reaching the limit of cards in their play area (depending on the number of players). There are different kinds of powers, two tiers of permanent effects, and one sacrifice effect for each field. Combining these powers is necessary to be the first to reach supremacy.
Excellent strategic depth even with very simple rules.
Excellent replayability. Combo possibilities and the synergy between the cards means you'll never play the same game twice.
Includes rules for 1v1, 2v2 team play, and 3-4 player games.
Has a cool token for the first player!
