French artist François Ruyer loves to pick mushrooms, but drawing is his true passion. He has been an enthusiastic illustrator of cartoons since the early days of his youth. Ruyer has now illustrated more than 300 books, most of them for young children. He has also developed numerous and painstakingly detailed puzzle motifs, many of which are based on illustrations from his books.
