With the Pirates expansion, Bohnanza heads out to sea. With Bohnanza, when players harvested beans they sold them for gold coins. With Pirates, players can load their harvested beans onto ships which then delivers them to markets for increased profits. However, watch for pirates on the sea lying in wait in their pirate ships to capture the cargoes of merchant ships carrying beans.

Pirates must be played with the Bohnanza basic game as this has the pieces necessary for up to 7 players. The game is played the same as basic Bohnanza, the the exception to the rules described herein.

Bean princes travel to sleeping beauty in the king’s castle. They wrestle through thick, overgrown bean vines and must complete difficult tasks. The prince who gets to the Castle with the most gold coins, may kiss sleeping beauty to awaken her, and win the game. Princess need to be played with Ladies or with Bohnanza. Players are expected to recognize the rules of these games to play Princess.
