Ascension is a deck-building game where players spend Runes to acquire more and more powerful cards for their deck. It offers a dynamic experience as players have to react and adjust their strategies accordingly. Each player starts with a small deck of cards, and then uses those cards to acquire additional and stronger cards for their deck, with the goal of earning the most Honour Points by defeating monsters and gaining cards.

This is the third edition of the Ascension core set, now referred to simply as “Ascension: Deckbuilding Game”. This new version comes with all of the cards previously in Chronicle of the Godslayer, but with the new frames we debuted with the Apprentice Edition, along with updated and re-imagined art for many old favorites. In addition, this new printing comes with an updated board and rulebook.
